If you have Apple TV+, which programs are keeping you loyal?

When Apple debuted its own in-house streaming service in November 2019, the tech giant went about things differently than many of its contemporaries. Where the likes of Netflix, YouTube TV, and Amazon Prime TV primarily sign on existing intellectual properties (IPs) from established film and TV studios, Apple decided to exclusively endow its Apple TV+ service with original content from the get-go. In the years since, Apple has expanded its TV+ reach, introducing a number of high-profile movies and TV shows to the service which can't be streamed anywhere else. On the movie side, popular Apple Original films include Wolfs, The Family Plan, CODA, and The Instigators. On the TV show front, meanwhile, Severance, Slow Horses, Presumed Innocent and Palm Royale top the popularity charts. It's become clear that original programming is a deeply important factor within the streaming industry, and that a lack of compelling on-demand movies and shows can spell disaster for a streamer's market rel

What kind of 'Barbie' movie should Mattel make next?

We all remember the event of Summer 2023 -- Barbenheimer. But the Barbie movie didn't just get the world buzzing -- it had longtime Barbie fans leaping at the very real possibility of seeing more adaptations of the beloved childhood classics. These movies had incomparable plots, unmatched original soundtracks, and character arcs and twists that arguably surpass most films today -- especially in children's media. Mattel is just inches away from a gold mine of content -- its classic Barbie movies. I'm talking Princess and the Pauper, Magic of the Pegasus, 12 Dancing Princesses, etc. Don't be fooled by the 'girly' nature of their titles -- while these movies embrace femininity, their plot points were dark enough to make our parents' jaws drop. More than once, they found themselves sitting down, just as enraptured as we were by the ending. Of all the classics, Princess and the Pauper might be the most beloved, and that's exactly where Mattel should start building its live-action empire --

Do you subscribe to Kindle Unlimited?

Though there are plenty of ways to get out of Amazon's Kindle ecosystem if you want, for those who don't mind the onboard OS, one of the biggest perks is being able to take advantage of a Kindle Unlimited subscription, which offers access to thousands of books for $11.99 monthly. Even if you read just one book a month, this is a really good deal. However, the catch is that this service typically doesn't offer titles from best-selling authors (think Stephen King, Brandon Sanderson and Sarah J. Maas) and instead focuses on up-and-coming or independently published authors. I have had this service infrequently over the past few years and though I've found a few hidden gems, I have always been a little frustrated by the selection. Do you have Kindle Unlimited?
